چکیده

Abstract High-energy, long gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) can be generated by the core collapse of massive stars at end their lives. When they happen in close-by universe exceptionally bright, as seen from Earth case recent, giant, long-lasting GRB221009A. GRB221009A was produced a collapsing star with redshift 0.152: this event observed many space experiments, which also detected an extraordinary afterglow. The large fluence prompt emission about 0.013 erg cm −2 illuminated geographical region centered on India and including Europe Asia. We report paper observation sudden electron flux changes correlated measured HEPP-L charged particle detector board China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite, orbiting over time GRB event. structure closely matches very distinctive dependence photon associated main part around 13:20 UTC 2022 October 9. To test origin these signals, we set up simplified simulation one subdetector: results analysis suggest that signals are mostly due to electrons created within aluminum collimator surrounding silicon detector, providing real-time monitoring intense fluxes. discuss implications for existing forthcoming detectors low orbits.

SEM Image Observation Using an Electron Energy and Electron Take-off Angle Filtered Detector

Scanning electron microscopes (SEMs) are usually equipped with two types of detectors: secondary and backscattered electron detectors. The former produces secondary electron images (SEI) rich in topographic information[1, 2], whereas the latter produces backscattered electron images (BEI) rich in composition information[3]. Recently, however, a few other detectors have been installed in additio...

The biological effects induced by high-charged and energy particles and its application in cancer therapy

The radiobiological effects of high atomic number and energy (HZE particles) ion beams are of interest for radioprotection in space and tumor radiotherapy. Space radiation mainly consists of heavy charged particles from protons to iron ions, which is distinct from common terrestrial forms of radiation. HZE particles pose a significant cancer risk to astronauts on prolonged space missions. With ...

Charge-exchange limits on low-energy α-particle fluxes in solar flares

This paper reports on a search for flare emission via charge-exchange radiation in the wings of the Lyman-α line of He ii at 304 Å, as originally suggested for hydrogen by Orrall & Zirker (1976). Via this mechanism a primary α particle that penetrates into the neutral chromosphere can pick up an atomic electron and radiate recombination radiation before it stops. The Extreme-ultraviolet Variabi...

Anomalous free energy changes induced by topology.

We report that nontrivial topology of a driven Brownian particle restricted on a ring leads to anomalous behaviors on free energy change. Starting from steady states with identical distribution and current on the ring, free energy changes are distinct and nonperiodic after the system is driven by the same periodic force protocol. We demonstrate our observation in examples through both exact sol...

Isotopic and Elemental Composition of the Anomalous Low-energy Cosmic-ray Fluxes

Recent observations of cosmic rays below ""30 MeV nucleon 1 have revealed anomalous enhancements in the energy spectra of oxygen, nitrogen, and helium relative to those of other nuclei such as boron and carbon. We have measured the quiet-time fluxes of the elements hydrogen through oxygen in the ...,4-30 MeV nucleon1 energy interval during the period 1972 October through 1974 October. We find t...
